French Doors

Welcome to our catalogue of French doors, we have a range of door styles that will suit any house. Standard doors are 1980mm high (2040mm including the frame) and 610mm wide except for the 1570mm frame which has 760mm doors. We custom make all our French doors, so we can make them to any other size not shown in our catalogue.

French Doors feature:

  • Prices are for paint quality french doors
  • Doors are dipped in a Water Repellant for greater protection except if otherwise requested when staining
  • Paint quality infers cedar doors and sashes with H3 finger-jointed pine frames
  • Stain quality is also available, doors and sashes are typically color matched cedar in heart rimu frames
  • French doors with opening windows use friction stays
  • Sizes shown are overall frame widths, not opening sizes (packers and wedges need to be allowed for)
  • Note: Side lights on 1840’s can be either side.
  • Special sizes can be made
  • All exterior doors are rebated
  • Frames do not come with facings or architraves. The jamb size is 140mm
  • Stainless Steel Hinges, unless requested otherwise.
  • Left hand door opens first (looking from outside). Right hand to order
  • A hardware fitting service is available from a wide range of products
  • Delivery is extra and can be, either local or out of town
  • All are putty glazed with 5mm clear float glass, unless otherwise noted. Double glazing option priced upon request
  • Prices are recommended retail and strictly payment on delivery or completion ex workshop
  • Prices include, GST and glazing and are subject to change
  • A deposit is required to confirm order
